Tennis ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — never in plain text, never visible to us).
• Match records: scores, match dates, opponents (registered players or guest names you enter), and the resulting rating changes.

How We Use Your Information

To operate your account, record matches, and calculate ELO ratings and standings among the players who use the app. Nothing else — no advertising, no analytics tracking, no algorithmic feed.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your information and do not share it with third parties, except as required by law. Your name, match history, and rating are visible to other players who use the app, since that's the point of a shared scorebook.

Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on infrastructure we operate directly, not a third-party cloud data-processing service.
• Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text.
• Connections to the app are encrypted (HTTPS).

Data Retention & Your Rights

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time by emailing us — we don't yet have in-app self-service deletion, so this is handled manually for now.

Children's Privacy

Tennis is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will reflect the most recent change.
